September General Meeting
The Eugene Modern Quilt Guild General Meeting is a welcoming evening of creativity, learning, and community for quilters of all skill levels. Social time and setup begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Meetings conclude by 8:30 p.m.
This month, EMQG member Stephanie Bryant will lead a free pre-meeting skill builder, “Hand Embroidery You Can Use on Quilts.” Bring scissors and a thimble; Stephanie will provide everything else. Space is limited, so please register by emailing sanordby@jsn82.com.
During the meeting, EMQG member and retired physical therapist Missy Downy will present “Stitch & Stretch,” with practical guidance on ergonomic sewing setups and healthy posture. She will also lead movements and stretches designed to relieve tension and help prevent injuries caused by long periods of seated sewing.
Guests are always welcome and may attend up to two meetings or events before being asked to join the Guild.
October General Meeting

This month, EMQG member and prolific quilter and quilt instructor Heidi Lindsay will be doing a presentation and trunk show. As always, we will have Show & Tell.
Guests are always welcome and may attend up to two meetings or events before being asked to join the Guild.
August General Meeting @ Friendly Park!
We’re continuing the tradition of holding the August meeting in Friendly Park and having a potluck! Bring something to share (food or beverage) and your own plate, cup utensils and chair. Members and visitors are welcome. Social time and setup begin at 6:30 p.m., with the potluck at 7pm. We’ll close by 8:30pm.
And don’t forget to bring your Show and Tell!

Class: The Name Game
Make a personalized quilt with someone’s name or a word or short phrase that’s meaningful to you. Ken will create the pattern for you and help you complete your quilt top in a hands-on workshop.
