This two-day, in-town quilting retreat offers dedicated daytime sewing without the overnight stay—you get to go home and sleep in your own bed each night. The retreat includes open, hands-on sewing, optional activities, and plenty of time to relax and connect with your quilting friends.
Work on your own projects at your own pace, enjoy the community, and make meaningful progress in a comfortable, low-pressure setting close to home.

We handed out the fabric for the Retreat Fabric Challenge at the February meeting. If you’re coming to the EMQG Weekend Retreat and didn’t get your fabric at the meeting, contact Ken — he’ll leave your fabric on his front porch for easy pickup.

1. Use the fabric. Create anything you like between now and the retreat, but incorporate as much of the challenge fabric as possible. You may add any other fabrics or materials.
2. Stay anonymous. Attach your assigned number from Ken to your project and bring it to the retreat in a paper sack.
3. Enjoy the process. Be inventive. Take risks. Have fun.
Voting: You’ll receive voting tickets when you turn in your project on Saturday, March 21 at the retreat. The winner will be announced on Sunday.
